So thanks a lot for everyone coming out to our last couple shows. They were fun. There is always the possibility of us playing again sometime put i wouldn't hold my breath.

Last Shows!!!!
We have 2 shows left and then we enter the indefinite hiatus. Here is the info for the shows:
July 28th @ CBTG's with: Be Alright, Vicar and Semi
July 29th @ Distortion with: Be Alright, Those Lazers, The Drunks and Justin Haynes.
Anyways we wanted to extend a thank you to Mitchell Westcott, who has been kind enough to step in and play 3rd guitar for the last couple months. It has been pretty awesome having in the line-up.
So this weekend is the last time to see SWORDS for a long time (maybe forever). So come out. Thanks.

LOTS OF SHOWS

We have a very busy July coming up. We are playing a bunch of shows and then we are going on indefinite hiatus in August. So here are the shows:
July 2nd @ the levee w/ Wizards of Kaos
July 9th @ Distortion w/ the Birchmen, Between Hell and Tomorrow, the Potholez
July 11th @ 709 Shed (709 Empire Ave) w/ Touche Amore (Deathwish Recs), Regiment, Tied Down. THIS WILL BE OUR ALL-AGES LP RELEASE SHOW
July 23rd @ HQ w/ Animal Faces (Toronto), Polina, Clocked In

MIASMA release show
The date has been set to unleash our new record, MIASMA. There will be a live performance taking place on:
June 4th @ Distortion

Monsterbator
Veneers

This is our 5th release and 2nd full-length. We recorded this record with Ian Blurton (C'mon, Cursed, Weakerthans) and it was mastered by James Plotkin (SUNN O, Isis). Artwork was done by Nadine Hodder and the silk screening was done by our very own Adam Goodwin.
We are also hoping to have an all ages show around the same time, more info on that as we find out. Hope to see you out at the show. take it easy.

Some news on the record front: it is being sent to press this week, artwork is done and we have a preview of part of a song up on bandcamp http://monumentofswords.bandcamp.com/ so go check it out. The release should be happening in late may/early june, more info to come shortly on this one.
